Description
Package of four Allison KB501 turbines. (3) Identical generator packages. 30′ enclosures by Williams and Lane, installed in 1995. Each Enclosure comes with an external, skid mounted hydraulic start unit, powered by a Detroit Diesel 6-cylinder engine. Remote mounted oil coolers for each unit are included. Units have been installed in a data center and used as backup power. (1) of the three units has had the engine removed (used for a spare in another project). All three packages have Allis Chalmers gen ends 4987amp, 1200rpm, 480v, 4146kVA. Controls are Allen Bradley PLC5 with AB 2711 Panel View terminals. Fourth unit is a 36′ package, built by US Turbine. The Allison engine has been removed and is no longer available. The package features an Allen gears gearbox, and Ideal generator end. It is rated at 3250kW, 480V, 1800rpm.
