Renewable Energy
Biomass is a renewable energy source that qualifies for carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol, the first international agreement to mandate country-by-country reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
Derived from biological material from living or recently living plants, biomass can be used directly to produce thermal energy or indirectly to produce biofuels like biogas and syngas through biochemical conversion methods developed by Younes Bros and our partners.
With two operational industrial facilities and three more under contract, we offer a Clean Energy System that produces an affordable hydrogen-rich gas stream on demand from biomass and waste sources.
This core technology is ideal for clean energy applications, including distributed or centralized electrical power generation and the production of synthetic diesel fuel.
